Admin only fields are not ‘private’ fields in the sense of being hidden on the Detail page display. Admin
only fields work as described here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#customFor Admin use only?
Choosing YES here, will not allow your users to edit the field; only administrators will be able to edit this field.
This option is only available for custom fields you create yourself, not for the default GD fields. We certainly take another look to find out why the text field is not displaying on the front end, but that seems contrary to your stated goal?
We would be happy to take a look at your settings to see if we can find the problem.
Please be sure to have completed all the steps for configuration, and do check to see that your plugins are all up to date.

If you have added any plugins recently, or performed other updates, you can try yourself to disable non-GD plugins to identify the culprit.
Let us know if you find anything.
I will flag this for the developers, thanks for you patience while they take a look.

Thanks!
It is not possible to use both Yoast and GD for Meta/Titles at the same time.
Changes made include disabling Yoast, per your direction, and adding content to the category as described above. I also set the permalinks to post name, as required for Geodirectory. You may experience a wide variety of errors if that settings is changed back to plain. If the setting for GD Permalinks – Show location in URL is disabled there will be no location meta/title displayed because there will be no location pages because they do not have a URL.
However, this other feature may work for you if you are looking for frontend display. You can look at Places – Category – Edit to see the additional information added there.
– Use filter ‘wp_insert_post_empty_content’ that is executed before insert post.
Thanks for your reply
The developers will take another look as soon as possible.

This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
Thank you for writing back with your login information, I was able to login and see that WP Easy Updates is indeed active. However, it appears that there is a conflict, interfering with the proper functioning of the plugin. I see that the License options are not displayed, and that there is a newer version available.
Some deeper inspection will be required to isolate the conflict. Please write back with FTP access so we can take that deeper look.

1. Styling of BuddyPress tabs – The GD BuddyPress integration doesn’t have any settings for styles of the tabs, that is all part of Buddypress styling, and we don’t provide support for 3rd party plugins, only Geodirectory and addons.
2. Drop down multi-select – At this time, only select fields can be added to the search bar. Other options like multiselect are placed into the advanced search options. The only way is to display this as a checkbox, as you have discovered. I have seem some members come up with vertical forms shown in sidebars or a column that make good use of the checkboxes, taking advantage of the shortcode option to keep the advanced search options open. Anything else would be a customization.
