Hello!
GD does no filtering of that type for users or comments, relying on default WP functionality, with the exception of ReCaptcha, but ReCaptcha has a different error and behavior and both are controlled by Google.
I did a quick search and some have found the Bluehost or Mojo plugins at fault.
Is there a reason you think it might be GD related specifically?
Show map appears to be hidden. Please check and let us know.
Hello,
the logo looks good.
We do have an example snippet for changing out the icons on the Detail page, but this won’t effect listings pages or the map. The icons should be the recomended size because of the use of the category icons on the map. To see the snippet, open this link and search “Change category icons on the detail page”:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/detail-page/
Kor already linked you here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/where-can-i-find-map-markers/
I recommend you take a look at how those are sized, maybe download one or two.
Here is a construction icon, for example.

Map markers look better when they are higher contrast. You might consider making a custom google map that matches the teal color of your logo, and then make the icons YELLOW with dark , here is with #a8900a
If you need more help with those or other customizations, please contact a GD Expert https://geodirectoryexperts.com – Geotourism Center makes icon sets.
April 22, 2018 at 1:48 pm in reply to: Don't know how to use "Make Friends" and "Message" features via Buddypress… #427543Hello,
As far as protecting yourself, using the ReCaptcha on all GD forms is a good way to go.
I am unable to login with those credentials. The login page /wp-admin/ is being forwarded to jetpack and wp.com
Please test the credentials and let us know the steps to take to login to the site.
Please let us know any specific questions you have about the setup of the site and we will try to answer them for you.
About the license, make sure you are using the correct license key that you find here next to the download link for that child theme: https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
Also make sure to have the Genesis Framework installed. The Geo travel Child theme cannot work without Genesis.
The listing URL was not set in that neighborhood. Try adding the neighborhood to the listing address and see if the results change.
About the search subcategory, that would be a customization. You can see the examples we have in the common styling and snippets examples. It is not possible without a customization to create a dependant dropdown for category -> subcategory. It is something we will revisit when working on advanced search for V2, but for now you would need to develop this yourself.
To customize and change the order of the search fields, we have supplied a previous example to get you started here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/change-order-of-fields-in-search-bar/#post-354421
For more info about adding customizations see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

Hello again,
there is no perfect size, except the size that matches your content, as the footer area itself is dynamically sized to the content it contains.
attached please find a screenshot of settings that will show the fullsize image when widgets are in the footer area.In order to display widgets, then the footer widget area must be enabled.
The image shown is 1400*700, but it does not matter what size the image is as you can set it to be ‘contained’ and then adjust the content or image to fit.
In your screenshot, the footer is thin, and the backround image is shrunk to fit. To make the footer taller, add widgets.
Hello,
the screenshots from the Usage section of the document are from the Add Listing page, as opposed to the WP Dashboard/Backend. This is the setting that is available to the listing author/owner from the frontend. They can make a link back to another listing that they own.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/#usage
The screenshots to set up the link between CPTs are from the dashboard
GD > Custom Post Types > Model CPT (example only) > Advanced Mode > Link business. This reply has been marked as private.Hello! All the settings for import and export are covered here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#importI would recommend that you do this manually if you only have a few listings, as seems to be the case. The issue is that on the Spanish listings translations, they are in the category “Restaurants”, but this category does not exist. There is instead a new category “Restaurantes”.
If you want to try the import method, then, you are ‘updating’ the listings, not importing new. The only think you need to change is the spelling of that category in the CSV.
If you have any doubts, then I recommend you set up a test site where you can try it out first. If you need help with that you can contact a GD Expert here. https://geodirectoryexperts.com
Hi!
Have you already read this?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-custom-post-types/
Yes, it could be linking a classified listing with a business listing.
Hey Joy,
thanks for sharing! Glad you got it working!
Please try it with one of the listings manually, as described above.
I am not sure I understand your questions. Please send over WP Admin (full) so we can continue diagnosis alonf with FTP.
