Try using the shortcode builder. To use the code I shared you will need to update the key and search value.
That can be done through export. Export the listing, set the parent listing, then import.

Grid 1 is showing on my mobile.
GD layouts are responsive and switch to grid 2 at 768 and then list at 960.

Once you try Yoast SEO for locations, for just one location, you can compare to GD by simply disabling Yoast and examining the meta data in the code.

GD search doesn’t sear h the contents of custom fields. Instead it searches title category description and tags.
You are saying you have a custom field you want to search? Have you already used the search filter option?
Based on the options available for search filters which one is closest to what you are trying to do?
