Upgrade to V2 produced fatal errors in my shortcode display

    Hi,
    I upgraded to V2 and now I’ve lost complete functionality – shortcode just displays as code. *See immage. Using DIVI theme. Dirction/ help needed.

    Hello,

    Divi takes a couple extra steps for setup.

    Each of the archives and the details page templates need to be built with Divi code blocks.

    Divi will automatically open the templates and place the default template code in text modules.

    You will want to copy that out, delete the text module, and then add it to a code module.

    If that doesn’t help, please try and describe what you have done so far. I don’t see any code on the page.

    Can you recreate the issue on a staging site we can access?

    Have you edited the GD details template with Divi already?

    GDV2 introduces a new template system to give you much more control over the display.

    Divi has undergone a number of large changes recently and we have not had a chance to make compatibility changes fully.

    Basic functionality should work but theme builder features are still very new.

    When I tried to add fields to the tabs and save changes I get the error: “Something went wrong”. Tried multiple steps here and still no solution. Appreciate your replies and help but plugin currently rendered totally non-functional for us.

    Needed to create a basic work around but it’s not the personalized, find your local program, solution that we want which we purchased the plugin license for.

    I’ll need to keep this thread open until solution found.

    A couple things to check

    Updated plugins and themes
    Remove GD Booster
    Remove V1 Snippets

    A test to try
    Remove Divi from the GD Templates, just use the WordPress Classic editor

    Let us know how you get on
