If events are linked to business, then the widget should be set to show business linked from events.

authentication is not included, that is true. There are a wide variety of plugins and methods for securing the endpoint and we have not included one with GeoDirectory.

use of page builders on listings is not recommended.
Instead an Advanced page builder like Beaver themer can be used on the GD details template.
Have you applied a template with themer already?

Make sure comments are enabled on the individual listing where you want them to show. If you have past listings then you can adjust that with bulk edit, too.
If that isn’t the issue, please share a link for the page that is showing the problem and include WP Admin credentials if we need to check the settings.
Have you considered shorter category names?

at this time the search field will search title, description, category, and tags. Custom fields must be searched with the advanced search options.
Can you show a page where that permalink is a link?
Those pages won’t be linked from the sitemap.
Please share the map URL so we can take a look.
You can see for yourself if there are errors by using the inspector in your chrome browser to check the console for errors.
ctrl-shift-i -> Console
Also include WP Admin credentials if we need to check settings.
