Search by city and region not working, displaying all listings available

    This is a similar issue to https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/geodirectory-search-not-working-correctly/ . We couldn’t find a solution in that post or other posts. All GeoDirectory related plugins are up-to-date.

    In short, when searching for listings in a single city or region, all listings for all cities/ regions are displayed. Searching for words works, and search “near: my location” also works if geo location is allowed on any browser. And the listings by categories also work.

    In order to reproduce the issue:

    1) Go to https://fedele.org/en/
    2) Choose a city or region (e.g Ibiza city, which has only 3 listings). All listings of all regions will be displayed.
    3) If we go to https://fedele.org/en/escuelas/category/fedele-baleares-1/spain/baleares/ibiza/ , we’ll see the 3 listings in that region. On the search box, “In: Ibiza (City) is displayed.
    4) Click on “Search” and all listings will be displayed again.

    This is what we get when searching by listings in Ibiza (City):

    This is what we expect to see:

    Ah, ok. You have many plugins that need updates.
    Please update and see if that fixes it. If not let us know and we can take another look after the plugins are updated.

    Thank you, Alex. All active plugins updated. Now it works.

    There was an issue during the update. Not sure if it’s related to this problem (maybe you could confirm it), so I’m describing it here in case it can help others:

    This morning we got a message on Geodirectory’s settings that the plugin WP Easy updates should be installed. We activated it, and no updates for GeoDirectoy were available on the plugins page at that time. This afternoon there were new updates available.

    When trying to update the GeoDirectory plugins, each one displayed a message “Download failed. Unauthorized“. So for each one I:

    1 – Deactivated the license key
    2 – Deactivated the plugin
    3 – Reactivated the license
    4 – Reactivated the plugin. Next to each one I got the message “automatic updates are not available for this plugin“.
    5 – After refreshing the plugins page several times, the link “update now” appeared, and I could update it.
