Well, you can link FROM events to Places, or TO events from Places. But in either case the linked-post field has to be filled. Is it the form filling you want to avoid? It isn’t automatic.
It looks like you are already using a sort of nearby thing “you may also like” which is automatic. Nearby listings is described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/gd-listings/#nearbyIt looks like another plugin may be causing a conflict or have an error.
Street view plugin?
We can take a look, please share WP Admin and FTP credentials so we can debug the issue further.
Thanks for your post. I will check with the developers to sere if we are going to offer a snippet for that.
Hello,
we have created a task to add that feature in for linked posts. I understand it will be in one of the next few versions. Thanks for your patience while we continue to improve GD!

Please check your site *email #497798This reply has been marked as private. There aren’t any included with GD so that would be a customization, in general, outside of support. Is there something in particular you are looking for?
Thanks, the developers will take a look.
Ah, I understand you now. So we should check the edit listing page for a new listing and click preview to see the error?

Can you clarify your question?
What results are at odds with my response?
What you describe is search working as expected.I have flagged your topic for the developers to take a look.
Thanks for your patience while they check into the issue. There are two places to set the new listing status, either in the general options or in the CPT options.
If they aren’t acting as you expect, please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply so we can take a look.
Thanks

It could be you have a listing with latlng 52.1, -1.1833 and that there is a problem with an illegal character in the lat or lon fields. You can try finding that listing to correct the data. One way to do it is to export all the listings and check them for any odd artifacts or strange coordinates.

For custom fields, there can be several reasons. It sounds like those fields might be excluded from the price package.
Please see:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#whyThe options that are available are inside the GD Map widget/element
Find where you added the map, then use the widget options or a shortcode builder to see all the options.
Make sure you select “Directory Map” to see relevant options.
