You would need to ask Google about that:

April 1, 2020 at 3:26 pm in reply to: Force location search to only look at starting letters? #537826Thanks for your post, the developers will take a look if they can recommend anything about that.
Listimia has customized shortcodes for those features; they are not the same as the GD Categories or GD Locations that come with GD.
I would recommend you just create a text box with an image background to create a colorful navigation section, and use links directly to your archive or location pages.
Thanks for reporting that, the developers will look into it on our end.
Hello,
You can use the Location Manager options for restrictions. If you have already clicked the blue button then you have seen the options that are available.
For neighbourhoods, the only neighbourhoods available are the ones you create within each city, but there isn’t a way to restrict them further than that without your own custom code.
The location restrictions apply to the add listing form.
Hello,
Unfortunately a carousel is not available from GD directly, but, you can use a “Posts Carousel” widget from 3rd party builders or plugins to do something like that.
April 1, 2020 at 6:17 am in reply to: Custom fields do not show in Place-Settings and Advance Search #537728The same box appears and I cannot get past it.
Try just copying the shortcode I used above.
Shortcodes need to be created with the shortcode builder.

I have added some temporary text to brisbane city location description with a link to where to edit it, please check the page here at the bottom
https://smartaussies.com.au/places/category/accommodation/queensland/brisbane-city/
Just add the “Listings” tab and it will show all the CPTs.
You can find the original badges in the Default Content of the GD Archive Item in the GD Settings
WP Backend – GeoDirectory – Settings – Pages – Archive Item – Default Content
You can use the shortcode builder to make new pages

More badge examples can be found here:

your image did not come through.

Hello,
Custom Post Types are like individual directories.
The Event Manager addon adds the “Events” Custom Post Type (CPT).
Events then have categories like “Opera” or “Birthday Party”
Does that make sense?
You can add 100 Event listings (all of the Event Custom Post Type) and each one can have a different category.
The categories are created ahead of time, as shown in the link I sent above.
Events Custom Post Type is created by the Event Manager addon, but, with the Custom Post Types addon you can create as many custom post types as you want. Examples are endless, and we have an example with hospitals and doctors on the Custom Post Types addon page:
