Hello,
If you have advanced search installed then you can already add fields to the search options drawer.
With GD Search you can place the search bar in the sidebar with the drawer open.

Unfortunately I don’t have any buttons like what you describe.
Thanks for that! The developers will take a look!

Link to your add event page, please
And the field you want to change>?It is not, the button will open the user’s maps browser app to the lat/lon of the listing. Then the user can click the ‘my location’ function in the mapping app to get directions.
What you may be looking for is the Directions feature of Google or OSM. You can find that option in the shortcode builder for GD Map and it does have a GPS type function. It should show by default in the map tab on the details page.
Excellent!
For others, after you connect, head to the Extensions menu item to install.

Well, you can always use CSS and HTML.

gd_archive_item_section is only for GD Archive item, correct.
2. The current placeholde ris coming from the field label, but we will look into setting it to show the placeholder instead in the near future.
3. Please share a link to the page and we will take a look if we can provide an example.
Looking into it, thanks for reporting.
I hear what you are saying, but, at least 5 people in same number of months have asked to make sure the parent category is always selected when a child is selected.
As Guust stated, we try to make sure that the features of the plugin work for members AND are flexible enough to be used in different ways.
Would it help if you could make some categories ‘unselectable’ on the add listing page? Or is that just a part of the issue?
March 23, 2020 at 12:13 pm in reply to: Patience with the Beginner – GD Sidebar Widgets / Footer / Menu #536263You are using the GeoDirectory Single for the GD Details template. It includes that header area, and those buttons have inline styles that cannot be easily overridden, that are hard-coded in the theme.
You can use a Full Width or default template on the GD Details page and then you will be able to add those items and change the colors for them.
Otherwise that area requires customization with PHP:

The background image of the featured area shows the featured image for the page. Edit the page to change the image in the right sidebar “Featured Image”
Is your question about login resolved? Let’s focus on that. Try adding a custom link and let us know how it goes.
March 23, 2020 at 11:56 am in reply to: Redirect non-logged-in uses to register/login page on add listing also … #536258This site uses UsersWP. Generally speaking we recommend UsersWP over BuddyPress
But you can use only one of them, they are not compatible.
This is the custom menu link you can add for logged out users: /login/?redirect_to=https%253A%252F%252Fmysite.com%252Fadd-listing%252F%253Flisting_type%253Dgd_place
Please share WP Admin credentials if we need to check the settings.
