Create? It is created automatically when more than one CPT exists with listings.
It is the CPT selector.The map centers on the pins, not the country. The center is found automatically based on a bbox of the pins displayed on the map.
If you need to choose a center you can do that with some map types in GDV2.
About the cropped listings, please share the URL so we can take a look.

Can you say more about what you want to achieve? I don’t know your comfort level with php/sql but if this is a customization you are interested in we might be able to point you in the right direction.
GD doesn’t provide that functionality for the sign up form, but we do have a Terms and Conditions checkbox with a link on the add listing form.

Dropbox would be a customization for GD.
GD supports the core WP oEmbed providers and Dropbox isn’t on that list:

Not at this time but we are planning to release an advertising addon in the future that will have similar features.
