Don’t be sorry, thank you for checking into it and I appreciate the help.
So using the hook I could specify a new field which allows the anchor tag in the field. Am I following correctly? Just write a snippet of PHP for the functions and follow the basic principles outlined here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/understanding-hooks-actions-and-filters/
Thank you again, you’ve been very helpful!
EDIT: I reread your reply and realize you’re specifying the hook refers to adding something before or after ALL of the fields, right? Like at the top or the bottom of the list of options. Got it.
I’ve a quick, sort of related question.
Any customizations we do to the files themselves is lost if we upgrade the plugin, correct?
I’m looking for ability to create an HTML anchor Link tag (and possibly img – though I could see that getting messy pretty easily) in Advanced Search Front End Description of the Custom Field, or elsewhere in the Custom Field’s entries. Specifically for a “More Information” type link.
Example:
Search by these Options
Option
Option
Option
For more info on these great options click (here)Really allowing anchor tags in any of those fields would be valuable…But I digress.
I’m sure we could figure out the coding to allow an anchor tag in the front end description field, but that would get lost next time we updated the Add-On, correct?
Of course, thanks for your help Guust and Paolo!
Also, any suggestions on the CSS is greatly appreciated.
I don’t think I was very clear. I change the order in the settings, save, refresh, and the order doesn’t save properly and is all jumbled up again. I did clear my cache just before this last attempt just to be sure.
I’ll post some images for reference.
Image #1 is the order before rearranging.
Image #2 is how I arrange them, and the proper order. I save them, and hit refresh.
Image #3 is the result.

The error in permissions for the login I provided has been rectified, not the support request.

This reply has been marked as private.Since we’re testing out the system we started with the simple checkbox field. Multiselect might be what we end up going with depending on how the options and information ends up displayed.
My query is that we’ve successfully added the option for waterbirth in the system, but upon a listing being ticked by admin or client for this option then submitted/saved/updated into the system the value is not being saved as YES. Remains nothing as far as I can tell.
Was purpleedge’s #3 point ever resolved? The lack of hierarchy for the listing headers doesn’t work very well.
