Thanks. Yes, you are right. Didn’t thought on going via Custom HTML code.
I will check the videos tomorrow.
Thanks a lot.
If this will not be possible, is there a way to address via a shortcode all the single (custom) fields?
Because the I could use e.g. bootstrap tabs to place it where I like.
Ah, yes, I’m using GD V2.0.0.5
Hi Stiofan,
This is already working with 3.2.18 of Ninja Forms.
Already possible to place it in somewhere outside the tabs. But this is not what I like to achieve. I like to have the form or the button inside a tab of the detail page. I don’t like to have any place information in a sidebar.
Best,
DirkHi Stiofan,
mhhhh… Okay. Is a little bit sad as I scheduled this maintenance based on your earlier time frame.
I have to reschedule so, could you please be a little bit more precise. I have to decide to do the maintenance now or wait a week. The maintenance is this time a little bit bigger as I will change the theme also.In the meantime I will check GDv2 🙂
Thanks and best,
DirkI have reserved some time over eastern to do a maintenance for my live site and I like also to update GD tools. You said that this is done by mid of this week. Now we already have Friday.
Please let me know to make my schedule.
Best,
DirkI will take some time to continue testing v2 over eastern (most things I will add to github). But there is also a plan for another update for eastern. I will add a comment to the other posting.
Best,
DirkHi Stiofan,
At least it is a bug that you can specify this out of the loop and let you edit or delete the last item of the loop.
But I’m more than fustrated with the state of the beta.
Best,
DirkNow you are talking about UI/UX. There are different approaches for a good UX and this is very individual. If you look at software enterprises, and they spend a lot of money in UX, you don’t see very often these “show advanced options/settings”. Look at Windows, Office Suite, MacOS, Adobe Suite etc.
Also your quote above is just one opinon about UI/UX and I have a different one. You are hiding information/settings to the user and this is (for me) that you are patronizing the user.It is up to you to decide, but I don’t like the approach.
Best,
DirkStiofan,
I’m giving up with the testing as it is not clear how it should work and it is not on my side to always guess. This is waste of time.
It is not possible to test the beta in this state without a documentation. Sorry.
Best,
DirkWhy hiding something from the user?
Stiofan,
I’m not sure if these “Show advanced” is a good idea as you can see that a lot of people missing what they are looking for. To have a switch for “developers” is not a good solution for me.
Thanks,
