    Hi,

when will be the documentation available? I like to have the Ninja Contact Form Button within a tab. How do I address this? I cannot find how to.

    Thanks,
    Dirk

    Hi Dirk,

Docs are still being worked on, i will try my hardest to do a video walk through later.

For ninja forms, u need 20.0.05-beta.
    1. install ninja fomrs plugin
    2. Go to the add new form and select the “GeoDirectory Contact form”

Now there are a few ways to add the forms, we created a special widget/shortcode “GD > Ninja Forms” this will output a button that will open the form in a lightbox, the reason we did it via lightbox is #1 prevent caching issues, #2 it allows you to have multiples of the same form on the one page (not possible as standard)

So you can either add the widget to the details page sidebar and/or add the shortcode to the “Archive item template” page.

I am also adding a step to the setup wizard to automate all this.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

This is already working with 3.2.18 of Ninja Forms.

Already possible to place it in somewhere outside the tabs. But this is not what I like to achieve. I like to have the form or the button inside a tab of the detail page. I don’t like to have any place information in a sidebar.

    Best,
    Dirk

If this will not be possible, is there a way to address via a shortcode all the single (custom) fields?

Because the I could use e.g. bootstrap tabs to place it where I like.

There is a few ways to do it, i will make it simpler in future but for now do this:
Add a new html custom field and make it admin only and active and set it to show in its own tab, you will then be able to add the form shortcode

    [ninja_form id=3]

(replacing your form id) to each place individually but you could export and reimport having added the shortcode so it will work for all. As i said, i will make this easier in future.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    P.S. i just released some video’s https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1i6wQt-OC_59LDG439Q6mA

Thanks. Yes, you are right. Didn’t thought on going via Custom HTML code.

I will check the videos tomorrow.

    Thanks a lot.
