Is GD V1 no longer maintained?

    Hi Dirk,

    Yes it will be maintained fully until GDv2 and its addons are all out of beta and then it will move to security maintenance only.

    We do have a few GDv1 releases to do, which likely we will do mid next week.

    We did not branch the GDv2 on github we forked and made our changes there, they have separate repos as the code changes are just far too much and also we want to eventually keep all our repos under the AyeCode company account:

    I have reserved some time over eastern to do a maintenance for my live site and I like also to update GD tools. You said that this is done by mid of this week. Now we already have Friday.

    Its been a long week, i just got the latest beta out, tomorrow i’ll be working on some documentation for v2, i hope that will help you a bit but for now there will be a bit of a delay for other stuff.

    Hi Stiofan,

    mhhhh… Okay. Is a little bit sad as I scheduled this maintenance based on your earlier time frame.
    I have to reschedule so, could you please be a little bit more precise. I have to decide to do the maintenance now or wait a week. The maintenance is this time a little bit bigger as I will change the theme also.

    In the meantime I will check GDv2 🙂

    2.0.0.8-beta released.
    The idea is to clear the v2 bugs and then work on the v1 releases, we are a man down for a few days but hopefully v1 releases should be end of this week or maybe next.
