make changes for <h2> on homepage here ==>
Hi Guust,
I found where to edit the <h2> on the home page. It’s in the functions.php file! That’s good. I won’t lose my changes in the functions file will I when there’s an update? I sure hope not!
It would be very beneficial to add this into your code for SEO purposes. Especially since it’s on the homepage! I added where a screenshot that shows the change.
Thank you.
1) Okay, Paolo that now shows after adding a new image and removing it.
2) When I modify the geodirectory-compatibility.php file nothing changes.
Guust told me to update the index.php file and nothing changed there also.
Where is this header info coming from?
3) I have never heard of a child theme that you can’t modify and keep your changes… ?
lol. I’m really not trying to be a pain in the ass! 🙂
I changed the logo name back
here are the exact steps i took to remove the image and there is no option to do so.
steps 1 – 2 – 3 – 4

I understand what you’re saying. So how do I remove the image that was automatically added?
I just renamed it, added the CSS to display h2 and this is what I get.I have used the supplied GD Home page and only changed the Title and the Featured image
there is no image selected.

Hi Guust.
I have attached a screenshot of my home page where there is NO h2!
I have again copied over the header.php file from Directory Starter. It obviously is not the same file for the HOME PAGE. Please look at the source code. This is very frustrating! Where are the correct files to modify?
Brent
Hi Guust, thanks again for the help.
1) So I did go into index.php and added the <h2> to the site-description and it did NOT show up on the site. Please advise…
2) I haven’t had time yet to look at details here, but I will.
3) Will wait for your answer.
Thanks again bud!
