Great thanks, for some reason the advance tab wasn’t displaying, if you see in my screenshot. I think its a problem at my end with my internet not loading all the elements so no worries. After refreshing the page I got it to appear. Thanks for your time and making the screenshots or I wouldn’t have figured it out. I just knew Geodirectory would have this option, just couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find it. You saved me many more days banging my head against the keyboard, thanks for the great support.
This still doesn’t make sense. Why is the visibility options “All categorized pages” or “uncategorized” (scr attached), surely you should be able to choose which categories are shown, or what exactly is the choice being offered here. The widget says “filtered by your choice” or am I missing something.
For example I have bars and shops as two seperate place categories. Some bars and shops will also be in a category “featured” businesses (as they pay more) I want to display the featured businesses in the sidebar.
This wouldn’t work with CPT as the only way would be to duplicate the lisitings I want to also feature and to have them in CPT Places and CPT featured.
2) for the menu in admin, sorry don’t know how I missed that and I’ve been missing that since I started a month ago and been making custom links to get around it, sometimes I’m dumb. Yes thanks I know I only have to categories filled as I’m trying to get my featured to show in the side bar and I’m stuck. Is there really no option to filter what gets shown?
This reply has been marked as private.Brilliant thanks for the great support again, that works. Figured out 1) also. Just needed to add all the packages into the claim field on the free package. Took a while to get my head around the whole thing.

1. Ok great, I see that I can associate a particular package to a particular listing, which is fine. No the test listings were not imported I created them.
What I was thinking would be that on clicking the claim button there would not only be the associated package (free in this case) but a drop down of the other packages for the client to choose at this point. Is this possible?
Or is it a case that the potential client claims the free package and then has the option after to upgrade after. This is ok but just requires a second action when everything could be completed from being able to select which package they want from the claim button.
2. (see attached) When I hit send I am getting a “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)” from the form when a package has been associated. The form works without a package defined.

by deactivating ninja forms it has fixed the problem. Funny enough that is another issue as I couldn’t get the claim listing button to work with ninja forms as that was throwing up an error also.No problem, like I said it’s not a major issue for me atm and I can put the profile tab first and it doesn’t happen. Only happens when the map is in first position or if you refresh the page while the map tab is selected in any tab position. doesn’t happen in firefox, which I use and was driving me crazy cause I kept thinking I’d fixed it and then when showing friends on my phone when I was out (google) it was broken again lol

Go to any other display page and the map is gone, like in the screenshot. Go back to the original or any display page and it is greyed out. Only happens in Chrome not in Firefox.
yes sorry I know that, let me explain better. When the map is on the first tab it won’t display in Google chrome. The first time it will load correctly but when you navigate to another display page the map won’t load and likewise when you navigate back to the display page. see attached screen shot.
This will also happen if you are on the map tab and refresh the page. It only happens in Chrome but not in firefox. Screen shot attached shows the error in Google console
