Building site theme from scratch with team working on different local hosts and a hosted server. Requires page/post revisions for pages not related to GD. We simply must have a go-back button or lose too much time.
Having said that… The server (you have access to) has the suggested define> wp-config.php entries and the plugins have been deactivated and restarted for good measure. We have also restarted servers when we can. We do not see the option you mention.
Attached is the screen shot from GD>Custom Post Types>Edit>Revisions – allow for post content
The element to tick Revisions is not there. If we disable GD, we can make and keep revisions but cannot use GD.
On production we intend to delete revisions.
This reply has been marked as private. In WP documentation it is called Version Tracking but on the page/post Publish Panel Right sidebar 3rd item (when active) is called Revisions. And with GD it is gone. Without GD, is there. Feel free to disable any plugins to troubleshoot.

I’m on https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
and the link just below #3 is a png graphic that is missing. Can you update that file? Thanks Paolo. I did not realize you were so new as this when i purchased last year. I think things are maturing nicely.
Justin, we have many rural areas without street numbers and found a solution using google docs for data entry rather than wrestling with the GD map pin.
We create a google doc spreadsheet form using the gd_fieldname headers used on our site. lat/long we obtain from google maps (right click map pin for “whats here” displays lat/long which is copy/pasted into form.
When form completed, this field and any others can be parsed the combined fields into 2separate lat/long fields. saves a lot of time in data entry and all of the geo data can be dealt with in one pass and import 1000 without hiccup. This parsing works for other fields where you may want to pull a nugget of info from a string.
What may seem like extra work has dropped our data entry time by 60% not wrestling with map api in GD (for our site). Average person can now search, find and enter 20 sites per hour including 20 data elements
Does GeoDirectory have a favorite security plugin?
behind every letter/flag is HTML with predefined search string, thats all. I realize its a style page with elements, the only thing behind the element is <ahref with a search string…
is this what you mean by custom development? What is the syntax for search as it is input into the search widget box? can you share that so the string can be created?
