This worked just as I needed. Thanks so much for the snippet!

If that’s the case, i think I might be able to write a filter to do this…if that’s the case, and you don’t support dates but I could write a filter, please point me to any examples that could save me time…thanks guys.
May 7, 2020 at 8:30 am in reply to: Event Add-on – "Event_dates" and how do I get "start_date and end_date" #543401OK…thanks. BTW, quick question. If I create just a regular date, I can key gd_post_badge off that date, can’t I?
For example, [gd_post_badge key=”race_start_date” condition=”is_greater_than” search=”1″ icon_class=”fas fa-star” badge=”RACE Registration & Time Entry Open” bg_color=”#ff0000″ txt_color=”#ffffff” alignment=”left”]
I never thought to ask if I could just create a dummy field like the above, but this doesn’t seem to be working? I know I can key off the post and modified dates as I do that today…thanks for any updates.

Thanks for any update you can provide!
TimMay 1, 2020 at 12:49 pm in reply to: Event Add-on – "Event_dates" and how do I get "start_date and end_date" #543319Thanks for that Kiran. I just took out the feature I wanted to add for now, but certainly, let me know as I’d love to be able to key badges off those fields! Thanks again…this worked great!
April 28, 2020 at 4:20 pm in reply to: Event Add-on – "Event_dates" and how do I get "start_date and end_date" #543110Thanks…is there anyway I can make those available for the GD_POST_BADGE? I see them in the drop down for POST_META…that was the original need. Let me know…thanks again.

That will be great. Do you have an ETA on that? Any opportunity to participate in a Beta release or get a PHP patch or something for that?
April 27, 2020 at 12:39 pm in reply to: Event Add-on – "Event_dates" and how do I get "start_date and end_date" #542809To be clear, sorry I didn’t add this earlier, I need to set a badge based on start date and end date of an event. Think like:
* set a badge hen an event is only a few days away
* set another badge when an event is about to closeAs I said, I understand how to use badges in this regard, I just can’t figure out what the fieldkey is for the fieldkey “event_dates” that lets me understand what is entered as the start and end dates…
Thanks!
April 25, 2020 at 8:09 pm in reply to: Event Add-on – "Event_dates" and how do I get "start_date and end_date" #542566The question isn’t about badging, it is about understanding what is the key field for the start date and end date? I know how to do badging, the question is how do I access just the start date of “event dates” date range. Attached is a screen shot of the field.

Thanks for your help. Unless you can give me guidance on some way to do this, thanks for your help.
