Bummer… Many of my users who mostly browse the listings are forced into leaving the listings and getting stuck at the map page where they must start all over to get back to the listings they were already at. Seems like really bad practice to be moving users from the sections they are at just because they changed location settings.
I guess I just do not understand why the settings that are changed can’t be called via a function call instead of loading and displaying the entire map page.
I only have ONE cpt.
Please let me know where the code is in the core files that makes the redirect call to the map after the location change and I can make the change myself.
Thanks
+1 – I am also hoping for this feature to be added soon.
No worries, we have now decided to go with our own claim process using our own forms we created.
However, something to note… I tried with my phone on the wpgeodirectory demo and the dialog worked fine. However, on my theme of enfold it has the problem.
I notice that Paolo is running his RCQUADS with the same theme I use. Perhaps you could both do some testing there with normal size screens to see if you can duplicate?
Have a great day!

Hi Stiofan,
I am seeing the problem on my phone of a LG smart phone that is running chrome.
Android version 4.4.2My wifes phone is a Samsung Note3 (The BIG Screen)… It will show the send button but barely visible IF you scroll the dialog window down to bottom.
Also, if it makes any diff, I am running the theme of Enfold.
Thanks much!

Thanks a million! Will give it a try
Happy Friday!
Really need to have setting added to all fields for hidden (admin view only). IMHO any plugins with a forms builder should have this for any fields. Just my 1 cent worth.

Worked like a charm, thanks much! 🙂
A little confused… Not sure how to add custom CSS for just ID of the row versus overriding a class.
Can you give an example of how to do this?
Very awesome John!
Unfortunately I was not… I also switched to another theme (Genesis) because of all the problems I still had with Avada. However, I did experience something almost the same in Genesis and found it was a buddypress plugin (#Hashtags) that was causing. Doubt it would be your problem but just in case…
Good Luck!

July 28, 2014 at 4:30 pm in reply to: (0) next to categories in popular post category widget? #10148Site is not on a public server yet so I want at this time to change the code that displays this.
I am looking for someone to tell me where the code is that displays the (0) and then I will go remove it from my copy of the plugin. I am not interested in fixing it on my site as I don’t want even a correct number displayed.
I know that many free directory listing scripts have an option to not display the number listed so maybe this can be also done in the future?
But in the mean time, if someone would be so kind to point me to the block of code that displays this I can remove it from my copy.
Thanks for the help!
July 28, 2014 at 1:12 pm in reply to: (0) next to categories in popular post category widget? #10135I do not show any category counts at /location. Just the map.
for a location switcher I use the same method as the online demo for all locations. and this method works just fine for switching locations. See how it is done here:
http://wpgeo.directory/all-locations/I have made a screenshot clearly showing a listing (One of many) in the Restaurants category and the popular categories on the right showing (0) for that example category…
July 28, 2014 at 12:47 pm in reply to: (0) next to categories in popular post category widget? #10133The categories have multiple listings in each one. Only categories that have listings are being shown but in all cases there is a (0) next each one.
Not sure why this started. I have not added any plugins before this started showing (0).Does anyone know where the exact code is that displays this (0) ? I would like to just get rid of it as I don’t want any counts next to the categories anyways.
Thanks.
