I called GoDaddy and they ofefred me their Delux Linux hosting with:
No Cache
+Unlimited Storage
+ Unlimited Bandwidth
+ 1 GB of Ramfor $8.99 monthly

Cloudway charges $15.00
Will this Linux hosting be ok ?
So I can not use GoDaddy?
I read the documentation in https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/server-requirements/.
It says that “The only caching system that works with GD is GD Booster, and all other caching needs to be disabled”.I installed your GD Booster and Cleared the cache.
Questions:
1. Will this satisfy the requirements?

PLease do not take this personal. I’m not a tech guy but I have purchased several other programs that I use for others businesses/websites and they have not been as hard to understand/learn as GeoDirectory…

Been trying to figure this out-spending lot of time…. I say this because I don’t want you to think that I’m want everything given to me on a “silver spoon”…. Its a lot…My replies:
1: Still confused regarding Regions. I personally do not care if do or do not display. I do remember one of the very first things said about the set-up is setting up your location and this set-up asked for the region.
Q # 1 If I decide later I do not want Regions to be an option-where do delete them?
Q # 2:How did you add “Discover the best places to stay, eat, shop, do and nightlife in each city or neighborhood” under the United States location page?5 and 6: I remember reading “somewhere” that this number could be set at x and once you added more it would display More> ???? I looked for the documentation for quite a while but could not locate it. Do you? If under Places only 5 Categories will display this is not a problem for me because I can keep it 5 categories, however under my Business and Professional Directory there will be more than 5 most likely 25! Please let me know if you remember the topic documentation that addresses this issue = the number of categories that will display….

2. I went to GD Home Top Section selected GD Search widget and clicked delete but the Search Box still displays. ??????

Previous Issues:
In order to show my Business and Professional Directory you instructed me to “delete the Popular places widget” which I did and the Biz and Pro Directory now shows and the Listings which is what I wanted. Great! However, no Listings show under the Place Categories.
Q: Is this correct?
Q: No Listing will display?
Q: Could if I wanted be able to set-up for Most Popular Place Listings to show?I’ trying to get these issues resolved before tomorrow night my time as I am traveling Tuesday….

5. Nightlife does not show in Miami Top Section! The only ones showing in the City of Miami are: Attractions, Featured, Places To Stay, Shopping and Places To See. ????
6: Yes, Nightlife shows in Miami Neighborhood> Downtown Miami but like I said it does not show in the City of Miami???

I read somewhere when I was reading about Set-Up that you had the option of deleting the Location Switcher which I did but then created a Page Select Location which I like better.Q: Why do you say the site will no longer work properly? I seems to me it does. I like the Page Select Location better!
Other issues if I may ask you because I like how you reply ( much more detailed than others):
1. Your GeoDirectory Demo> http://wordpressmu-3822-8567-17899.cloudwaysapps.com/try-geodirectory/?preview shows the Search box I believe in the GD Content Section (as it does as well in my site) but with the additional text SEARCH AND CUSTOMIZE MY SEARCH.
Q # 1: Can I add this text “SEARCH” AND “CUSTOMIZE MY SEARCH” to my Theme?
If yes, how do I?Q # 2: If I can do the above, can I then delete the Search box from my the Top Section?

2. Why is Popular Places still showing? Will Popular Places continue to show even when selecting Business & Professional Directory Listings?
3. Why do the 2 Biz listings (Dentist & Vet) display under Popular Places if they are not Places?
4. Is this how the Biz listings will display under All Businesses & Professionals Directory? They display layout is different from that way they display under Popular Places.5. Under Miami, why is the Nightlife category not showing under Popular Categories? I viewed the Design Map video and unchecked the Nightlife category so it would show as a Popular category. What do I need to do?
6. The Nightlife category does show under Popular Categories under Downtown Miami a Neighborhood under Miami? Why does it show under the neighborhood Downtown Miami and not under Miami?
7. I created a “sub-category” titled “Happy Hours” for Category Nightlife and it (Happy Hours) shows as a separate category under Popular Categories.
7A: Why is this?
7B. This is not what I would want! I just want the Nightlife Category to show as a Popular Category and once users select it they will be see the sub-category Happy Hours. Sorry, I didn’t notice!
Thats an event feed widget from my Time.ly calendar I was seeing if I could incorporate with GeoDirectory.
It works = it will pop-up like you described but it’s really not really compatible with GeoD at least not with the Supreme. It would be confusing for the user as they would try to search for events and it won’t work.Jorge

1. Glad to hear that this issue has a fix! I was concerned it didn’t and would of perhaps killed GeoDirectory for me…
2. So but how do I do this?
3. Could tell me ‘step by step” or
4. Tell me where to go for how to documentation.
5. Also, How do I get Categories to display in Popular Categories? I’ve been trying to find how to all morning….

No! I was not pretending that one could search individual events.
I was asking for a clarification of what you meant by using 2 separate tools?But, never mind this is “water under the bridge”! I plan to create a new WP site just for GeoDirectory-Supreme Theme and not include Events!
