Hi Guust,

OK great.

I presume either the ‘preview option’ should vanish after first submission or ‘preview’ rights have to be granted to subscriber with ‘pending’ listing status??

Admin details not available to 3rd parties unfortunately.

I look forward to the outcome of this issue as for now there is a bug and I will have to remove the preview option for my users.

Kind regards,

Hi Guust and Stiofan,

Yes I fully understand that the listing can not be viewed until it is published.

Say you edit your listing after it has been submitted and before it has been published by admin. There is a preview link which opens in a 404.

So the issue is that clicking the preview link after you have submitted it for review; – while editing the listing (in case you forgot to add some info) opens in a 404 not found.

Guust, please try edit your test listing on my site and click on the preview link at the bottom. You will see exactly what I am referring to.

Regards,
Dale

Thanks Guust,

This works perfectly; – removal of the .sd prefix to .featured-area was also necessary.

Hi Guust,

Thank you for your reply. This completely baffled me that you were able to preview your listing so I dug deeper into the issue.

I too was now able to preview a listing before submitting it. Once submitted I went into my user profile and the event is listed there. If I then click on the title of that listing; – I get the Not Found 404 error.

…and if I now go and edit that listing (it has not been moderated/published by admin yet); – I see the preview option there again although now I am not able to preview the listing. I get the Not Found error.

I think this is what i did the first time round when I opened the support request.

So there is some kinda bug that does not allow previewing once it has been submitted.

I look forward to your follow up on this. Much appreciate your time> Thanks.

Hi Guust,

Thanks for your reply.

I am afraid that does not work i.e.
.single-gd_place .sd .featured-area h1.entry-title {
padding: 2px 8px;
-khtml-border-radius: 7px;
-moz-border-radius: 7px;
-webkit-border-radius: 7px;
background-color: rgba(51, 51, 51, 0.6);
}
I am using Supreme Theme. Perhaps it’s different?

Hi Kor,

So is this how the GeoDirectory ‘Pricing Manager’ is meant to function when ‘Invoicing’ is installed?

What will happen if I decide to switch over to WooCommerce?
I intend to start selling products on the site soon.

… I can’t find that setting > ‘Allow logged out users to add listings’

… in V1 this worked fine. This is only since the upgrade to V2. Once the listing has been submitted it has to be reviewed by admin but the user used to have access to preview this. Now since I have upgraded to V2; – I am no longer able to preview.

Hi Alex,

You need to register to add an event. Once registered as a user; – you add your event and then at the bottom of the page it says ‘Submit Listing’ and ‘Preview Listing’.

The ‘Preview Listing’ option goes to a 404 Not Found page. If I submit the listing as a user (subscriber privilege) and edit the event and try to preview once more; – It still gives me the not found page.

Hi Kor and Alex,

Bravo, Thanks so much. I think I am getting tired and my mind buggy. 🙂

It is working as expected now. #Kudos

Hi Alex,

I have upgraded a 10 site multisite and am testing on 1 of the sites. I think there is a bug that needs fixing as now I have to add an Event to all other 9 sites with enable and disable etc. scenario. > What do mean by a field is excluded from a package?

It is the image field which cannot be deleted and re-added.
