Add Listing Image only shows when required is selected

    Good day,

    Been battling to get the Listing Image option to show when adding new Event.

    In V1 I did not need to tick the ‘required’ box; – allowing clients to not add an image if they did not have any.

    In V2 I have found that the option does not become available to the client when adding an Event unless I have made the filed as ‘required’.

    Is this a bug?

    … I have also realised that once the image has been added (After I enabled the required option) and then deactivated the required option on Events CPT again; – The add image field shows up.

    So this option now does not have to be a required option but definitely seems like a bug from converting V1 to V2.

    Sounds like it is working as expected, now. Perhaps the field is excluded from a package?

    Hi Alex,

    I have upgraded a 10 site multisite and am testing on 1 of the sites. I think there is a bug that needs fixing as now I have to add an Event to all other 9 sites with enable and disable etc. scenario. > What do mean by a field is excluded from a package?

    It is the image field which cannot be deleted and re-added.

    Hi Dale,

    Kindly check “Show on only these price packages” of the field as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#fields by Alex and see if the field is excluded from a package. If you’re not sure, share your Website WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll check this out for you.
