Hi Kiran,
Thanks for taking a shot at this.
Your code does not seem to do anything on my site regarding 404’s for Expired/Draft events although I see where you are going with this but unfortunately my PHP skills are lacking in this regard.
I am not sure how events are tagged ‘Expired’ in GD. My site is set to ‘Expired > Draft’ and not ‘Expired > Trash’ although both instances will obviously result in a 404. Not sure if that makes any difference.
Any further input appreciated.
Hi Kiran,
Perfect, awaiting the next release. Will this be applied to Event plugin or GD core?
Hi Kiran,
Unfortunately I am not allowed to share details. Changing your dev sites’ event category schema should do the trick.
Kind regards,

Thanks for looking into this. The issue is not with the @type Event Schema.
GD has several other @type event categories i.e. VisualArtsEvent, FoodEvent, Festival etc.
These other @type schema event categories have many errors and warnings and do not validate.
I’ll send an example in private post to follow.
Thanks Guust,

… and back again. I am using a CSS Grid Supported Mobile First Theme that is causing all the issues.
Not a GeoDirectory issue.
Apologies for the back and forth here.
I realise that the listing preview sidebar should display the #geodir-sidebar information although on my page the Listing Details are displayed in the sidebar and the #geodir-sidebar information is displayed further down on the page in the content area.
Any idea what could be causing this?
