Perfect, you are the best! Thank you Guust!
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for responding Guust, I tried SELECT, MULTISELECT, RADIO, and CHECK and it still doesn’t work. Im not sure what im doing wrong? Also, when I do get it to show up on edit listing, if I select one of the 3 options, it won’t save it. Do you have a step by step run down and making cpt in the place settings?

I am using just the united states for the country, all 50 states for regions, and u.s. cities for cities. When I type in California it does not show the whole state, just one city.
I tested out your new option for all regions, countries, cities and it works perfectly. Thank you guys so much! 🙂
Awesome!!!!! thank you! This will work perfect!
Thank you vikas! You guys have such great support, I appreciate it.
That way I could avoid having my visitors even deal with selecting “everywhere” at all.
Hi Vikas,
Or even an option in the backend that might say ” if box is checked location switcher will search all counties, regions, and cities.
Yes, your solution would work. As long as I could search cities everywhere, whether in one country or all countries. I plan to start off with just the united states and then global. Thank you for your solution 🙂
Hi Paolo,
Basically that is what I want. I need to be able to have visitors just type in a city and have it switch to that location after a primary has been set. Because i’ve had people test out the location switcher and they were confused. Right now I have my site set to just the United States,by state, and by city. I want someone who is set on las vegas as a city and wants to see what’s going on in new york city, can just type in “new york city” in the search box and it will take me to new york city and keep that location set unless another city is typed in. Having to go from set location, then having to hit EVERYWHERE, then type in the city is confusing and time consuming I feel for visitors. I understand the logic but I feel my customers will not :/ Thanks for your quick response guys 🙂
Ultimately, I want to be able to just type in a city in the location switcher and have it go there. As of right now, once a location is set to a city, you would have to then click on “everywhere” first, then type in the city to change locations. Because it will say SORRY, NOTHING FOUND! “Los Angeles” for example. I feel that my visitors will not know how to switch locations after the primary location is set. My question was do you have a way now or, plans to make a way in the future, to just type in the location and have it just go there. If not, what would be an alternative way to switch locations? I understand that you now have a shortcode for an alternate location switcher, is it possible to swap out the new one for the old one and keep it on the menu tab? Or it there a plugin that could be installed for location switching?
