My re-occuring events only show last date of the event in sidebar listing. Is this function not working?

I am having a similar issue. My listed events are not showing the venue name. I do have the events and venues linked but still not showing up in the event listing. Next steps? –ThanksI like that I can add a re-occuring event…however from the Events main page under the popular categories…even though I only have entered 5 events (reoccuring) weekly for the year, each category shows 265 or 159 events. Is there a way to make this more real time. Or am I forced into only entering the reoccuring for event for a month at a time? This would be rather time consuming since so many of these events do re-occur weekly year round. Thanks!
One of the goals of the site is to have a live music calendar. I want to link the live music event to the music venue.
Two Issues:
1st: I have all my music venues (places) entered. Now I am adding the events. When I link the event to the business…it erases the name of the event and replaces it with the name of the venue. Am I missing something here? I just want the details of the venue included not the name of the venue. This seems clunky. Am I missing something here?
2nd: In the listing of the event, I don’t see the name of the venue anywhere, only the address and other details. How can I add the name of the venue and also change what is appearing here.
I apologize for all my questions, but is there any documentation on how to use these two features?
Should I enable “Link Business” in the price package of both events and places or just in events?
Thanks…I found it! So as the admin will I also have the option to add new events and see the places to link? Or only an outside user has this ability? I would like to add some events for some of my clients (places). Is this possible? thanks, V
