With that option there does not seem to be a way put the times for each day. For example: day one goes from 8am-5pm, day two goes from 10am -6pm and day 3 goes from 8am-1pm. I can only put a start time and an end time so for the example above if I click it is not a recurring event it would show a start time of 8am and end time of 1pm but does not give you the information about each day’s start and end time-there is no option for multiple times. If I click yes it is a recurring event I would choose custom for the dates (only way I can find to have 3 days in a row) and then I get the option to put in times for each day but it creates an event for each day instead of one event that ends in 3 days with different times each day.
Is there a way to have the multiple dates just show up as one event? This is for events that go multiple days, not multiple instances of the same event. I want it to show up as one 4 day event instead of 4 one day events in a row. This should be a pretty common type of event so there must be a way to do it, if not there should be, I would bet there are many two or three day long events and doing it this way really limits the usefulness of the event add-on.
I didn’t use the code because I realized that this creates multiple events instead of in the search instead of a single event with multiple days. How do I create an event that goes for more than one day and has different start and end times? I feel like I must be missing something because it should be pretty easy.
Where should I add this code?
Is there a way to set Custom as default? For the “Repeats” option. I want it to just show up as custom without needing to change the option. The others are not as useful for my events.
