Yes exactly.
Then, during testing, we disabled the ‘is required’ feature and uploaded a logo to a test listing.
When we approved the listing and viewed it in the search listing, the logo didn’t show but one of the gallery images did instead. We then manually went into the listing a re-added the logo which was then accepted and worked.
Hi, sorry I had to remove the ‘is required’ function for testing, so I’ll put that back in. To me it looks like it’s the logo upload field which is causing the issue. It doesn’t seem to detect that a logo is there. Even with the ‘is required’ off when a logo is uploaded it isn’t detected in the logo area for the listings. I had to manually go back in and add it once the listing was approved.
I hope that helps.
Also, when a user logs in, there listing doesn’t appear in their dashboard. Have I missed something?
Thanks

Any further ideas please?
I’m sorry! I’m still struggling to get this to function as we require.
Please could you guide me though this –
I’ve followed your doc however it’s still not performing as expected. I’ve tried changing shortcodes etc however nothing seems to be changing on the front end.The search flow doesn’t feel right. Essentially I’d want to look for ‘category’ in ‘location’ and have a free text search. You’ll see we have a category drop down, then a ‘search for’ (which seems to populate categories and then auto loads the results pages if you click a category).
I think the layout should be:
Search Category | Near | Free Text Search | Submit (Nothing should submit the search until the search button is pressed)
Then on the results listing page (search) I’d like to be able to refine the search results. For example is the user has selected Accomodation near ‘location’ then they should be able to filter the results by accomodation type e.g B&B, Hotels, Cottages etc.
If you could help that would be amazing!
Thanks
If you use either the add listing button in the top menu or the login/sign up link. Once signed up or in hopefully it will redirect to the add listing page.
Thanks

We’re using GD v2 and these instructions don’t seem to apply.
I can’t seem to locate a V2 guide.
Is it possible to do what I ask? Search for ‘category’ near ‘location’ – e.g hotels near london
and then refine by distance, type of hotel or different variables?
Really appreciate your help! This one is making my head hurt a little 🙂
This reply has been marked as private.Thanks. We’re looking to be able to search a category near a location. For example Accomodation near ‘location’. And then we’d like to potentially be able to filter to Hotel, B&B’s etc. Would this be possible. Could you offer a little assistance with this?
Thank you appreciate your support.
