Shortcode generating incorrect code

    We’re using GD v2 on the Divi theme and experiencing issues creating shortcode to output on the GD Details page. E.g if we attempt to create a shortcode from within a Divi text box and select the post meta with a address field key. The shortcode generated is GD post meta key=0. This then errors when you view the page. If I change the key within the shortcode generator, the same shortcode is output.

    See screenshot. Also, you cannot see the shortcode within the shortcode preview box on the righthand side.

    Hi Gavin,

    Thanks for your post. This could be caused by a conflict with another 3rd party plugin. Could you try deactivating non-gd plugins one by one and see which one is causing the issue you had there? If the issue persists, kindly share your WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll check on it.

    Try using the shortcode builder on a normal page area. The Divi builder itself conflicts with the shortcode builder.

    Alternatively you can use widget areas and GD Widgets.

    When I tested the shortcode builder in a normal page content area on your site it seemed to work fine.
