TonyHi Kor,
thank you for the info. I added the block to display the date and time and added the custom css, but it still shows a list of all the occurrences. Please have a look at gdatest05.website/events
Thank you,
TonyThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Kor, thank you, I found it in the blocks but when I use that it shows all the recurring event dates. How do I only show the date and time on 1 line as it showed originally in the classic editor?
The Price is OK.
Thank you,
TonyMay 6, 2019 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Read More on listings and widgets redirect to detail listing page #484675Hi, as mentioned in another post regarding the address format, I replaced the classic shortcodes with blocks and this resolves this issue as the read more redirects to the listing. My only question is can we add 3 dots to the end of the sentence and move the ‘read more’ to the next line.
Thank you,
TonyHi,
I think I finally figured out the basics (not easy switching from Joomla) on how to change bits and pieces with blocks and shortcodes. I experimented with Archive Item and deleted the classic editor short-codes with blocks. I succeeded partially as I don’t know how to open and close the left side and the right side. Do I keep the original short-codes for that in-between the blocks? Another question is I couldn’t figure out how to add the event date and time and the price of the event.
I hope I’m making sense and did this in the correct way.
You can view the places on gdatest05.website/places
You can view the events on gdatest05.website/eventsI’m still copying content, so some listings don’t have images or all info.
Thank you,
TonyHi, installed Jetpack to have a bit more control over the widgets visibility. I think I figured it out.
Thank you,
TonyMay 3, 2019 at 3:08 pm in reply to: No dropdown for the opening hours in widgets or listings overview #484337Hi Kor,
at the moment the opening hours show 1 line (in the widget and the details page) for the current day and then there is a dropdown to show each day. My original question was if it would be possible to disable the dropdown and only show if the venue is open or closed ‘today’. Then if users want to know more details they can click on the listing to go to the details page. Alex mentioned it is not possible at the moment, which is fine. But then I was playing around and noticed a lot of venues open until 1am or 2am in the morning. This means that in the widget, all those businesses show that they are open until 23.59 because the next day they will be open from 12am until 1am and that is shown on the second line. It’s merely a suggestion.
Thank you,
TonyMay 3, 2019 at 9:45 am in reply to: No dropdown for the opening hours in widgets or listings overview #484268Also please think about the following:
Places that open until for instance 2am might need 2 lines instead of 1, otherwise users that don’t click on the dropdown might think that those venues close at 23:59.
Thanks

Hi Alex, sorry for the late reply. Figured it out, thank you.
Hi,
under UsersWP > Login, I set the redirect to Profile. That works.
On that page is a cog icon that brings you to the account page. Can I add a menu widget or list to display in the sidebar only for logged in users, so they can switch between profile and account? Thanks,
TonyHi Alex,
in the settings profile is set to profile and account is set to account. Do I need to change a setting somewhere else so that when people log in they are redirected to the profile page?
Thank you,
Tony -
