Apologies for the confusion. The reason it is showing 3 different post ids is because this is after I imported twice to check. You are seeing the problem right there. This is what happens when I do an import with places with the same post ids as existing places. It creates brand new entries and gives them a new post id which is not what I want. I just want it to update the existing places.

    Steps I am doing.
    1) I have exported a CSV of all places.
    2) I have amended a few of the description entries with new information.
    3) I then check the post ID’s in the CSV to make sure they are the same post ids as the ones on the website. They are exactly the same.
    4) I import using this option “Update listing if post with post_id already exists.”
    5) I check my places on the website and I have double the amount of places now and each import has a new post id and it did not update the existing entry.

Luckily I did a backup. Therefore I have now put the website back to how it should be. This will enable you to do an import and you will see the problem.

I can confirm I used the correct post ids and followed this method.

It used to work then all of the sudden they just duplicate. These same listings never used to duplicate, can you please take a look for me?

yeah gone in there and it looks okay on there, maybe its a problem with the mail server i will see what they can do. Also just while you are here, do you know how i can make all these multiselects go onto a line as opposed to down? its very annoying for users
