This is a weird one. I’m not clear when this issue appeared.
I do have two files in the child folder: styles.css and functions.php. I removed the contents from these, updated the server and this made no difference.
I deactivated the non geodir plugins again and this made no difference.
I have been inspecting the element codes between this site and a test site and can see some CSS coding missing. Not sure if this means anything though.
I hope you can help find the problem. You have been very good helping me with every problem up to now.
You have the site log-in details if this helps. The site is still not in use despite being live on the internet so by all means have a play if need be. I’m looking to advertise once this issue has been resolved.

Spot on.
In respect to point No.5, it would be good if the user could somehow republish the listing even if reverting back to the free one.
Either way, now I know how it is meant to work, I can alert the users.

The code showing was my bad, i have fixed this now.
The images not showing on the preview page was a bug with the new reduced JS, you can fix it by replacing this file in core: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory/blob/master/geodirectory_template_tags.php (EDIT: i have replaced this file for you)

Thanks for the quick response.
The documentation does not explain my specific change hence why I may be struggling. We will get there.
The menu item is “Listing”. Do I search for this word within the list and translate this to “Places”.
I do have other words in the site using the word listing. Will these be affected?
Am I looking for the right word in the list?
Any further guidance would be appreciated.

Still trying to resolve this one. I feel I have followed the instructions – see attached. I have found a word titled Listing and Translated this to Places. I have saved this following the instructions in the second link. I see no changes.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong. As a matter of interest, is this the only way to change the Listing heading in the menu bar? Can this be changed in the database?

When on a CPT page and I select a place through the location switcher, I am taken to another page. Is it possible when I select a place the switcher refreshers on the same page?

Not quite the same question. How can I turn off or not to show the ratings on certain CPTs? There are some listings I wish to show the ratings and some not.

In respect to post #37351, item 1 is partly fixed. The previous button no longer appears. However, when I hit the next button, ads still show up set in different cities.
I have done a quick test on item 2 and this now appears to be working.

As a matter of interest, I have again opened up admin access for you again – same as before. I will keep this open for the time being.

As you have been a huge help, please can you advise on the 2 items below. I’m not clear whether what I’m seeing is correct or an issue…
1. When in a the detailed page for a particular city say Creigiau, the Next and Previous buttons appear at the bottom of the page. If I select Next, this takes me to a detailed listing under the city of Cardiff. If I select Previous, this takes me to a ‘Sorry, no such page’.
I would have thought the Next button should only take me to a detailed listing for the selected city? If the fist detailed listing then I would not expect to see the Previous button?
2. If I edit a listing and change the location i.e. the city from Creigiau to Cardiff, the listing dissapears from Creigiau and shows up correctly under Cardiff. However, the listing under the popular category list still remains under Creigiau.
I’m not clear what is expected to happen when a location is changed.
In fact is there a way to lock the location once the listing creation has been published?
