    @giuseppe, you’re absolutely right, it doesn’t make any sense to put a map on the top of the page and then an infinite scroll below. The map would either have to be in a sidebar – which then potentially makes it useless for smartphones. Or you could make it stick to the top or bottom of the page. Either way, it think it’s more of a desktop feature than for mobile devices.

    Regarding infinite scroll with the map, the question for me is how such a map would react to the user scrolling down. Should it just add the new places on the map once they are displayed? Or should the map only show the places that are currently visible? Ideally, both should be possible.

    We actually decided to disable the map altogether in GD Archive and use it only for the GD Single template. Infinite scroll therefore remains an option for us in the future, but for now we will stick with pagination.

    Hi. We finally opted not to implement it, because it doesn’t integrate well with the map, which in our case is at the top of the page. We’ll keep the pagination.
