Sorry, but the location on the map has to match the address and vice versa. You cannot have an address that is different than the position on the map.
Thanks
That I totally a BP feature,so you can test it on your BP pages, the members pages.
Please ask BP assistance in the BP forums.
Thanks.A membership plugin like S2member should make that possible.
If you want to add listings outside your default location you will need the Location Manager addon, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/
Thanks
If the address is in your Salt Lake city then you should have no problems. There is no need to change the latitude and longitude, just drag the marker.
The “set address on map” is only for when you enter an address in the field above, the latitude and longitude will be automatically calculated.Hopefully that clarifies your issue. Thanks.
The message “To begin using this site you will need to activate your account via the email we have just sent to your address.” is not an error message and will only be displayed after a user registered on the BP registration page.
“You must log in to access the page you requested.” is usually displayed on the BP page itself I thought, so it should not be affected by GD.

That is correct, Robert. Setting the United States as the default country will allow listings in the US only, and the cities and states will automatically be created as your directory grows.
All listings need to be at least in one category. Thanks.
Can you please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can review your settings. Thanks.
1. You add your licenses at GD > auto updates -licenses
2. There is no need to add cities or states, they are added when adding listings, see Adding or editing locations
If you want to use GD with Buddypress, you should use the GD-Buddypress integration addon. Change the settings to use the Buddypress registration form and it should all work correctly.
Seems to work fine for me. All your places have to be in your default location, unless you install the Location Manager addon.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/You will need to activate the Advanced Search addon, and a SSL certificate for your site.
Have a look at the settings of the Advanced Search addon, and you will see options there for geolocation. Thanks
The default location has only effect in a site with one location. When you install the Location Manager, the Default Location menu item is replaced with Multilocations.
The Popular Post widget will show post for the location selected by your visitors using the location switcher for example.
I hope that is a bit clearer now. -
