That suggestion has been discussed in the past, including the possible issues with spamming.
I’ll check with the developers if anything was decided regarding possible development of such option.

ThanksI corrected the setting:
GD > Advanced Search > Redirect to nearest location (on first time load users will be auto geolocated and redirected to nearest geolocation found)It works fine for me now.

You must use /places/ or other Custom Post Type (CTP) slug in the URL of a CPT or category.
For example /businesses/ or /listings/ etc.For “location” pages, you also need to use a slug like /location/ or some other slug.

Try changing the gd_post_images to use a different size of your images on the detail page:
GD > Settings > General tab > Pages sub-tab > Detail page > EditSchol
