As admin, change the auto-generated slug of the listing to something unique.
That’s the only way to do it.You need to choose a navigation menu (your main header WP menu) at GD > design > navigation
Searching towns can be done by using the location switcher: On the top, look for Change Location.
And you can search in the Near field of the Advanced Search you have in the right hand sidebar. All I can suggest is use the location switcher and at GD > multilocation > location settings > Show location switcher in menu > List drilled-down Regions, Cities.
That will list all cities in the region or country navigated to.
You had hidden all categories at GD > design > map > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
All I can think of before the developers look at it, is to translate
Business Owner/Associate?to

Business Owner/Associate?so it at least ends up partly below the fixed header
I see. Theme related because you have a fixed header. It is actually there on the top of the page but it is under your fixed header.
I’ll let the developers know, see if there is anything we can do about that.GD > Place settings > Custom fields

http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-place-settings/#customI just tested and it scrolls back to the top of the question in my test site.
Can you provide URL and login details to test yours? You don’t really need the security questions, Wangguard will compare email addresses with their database and knock them back.
I think the security question will only work if you use the normal WP login, instead of the GD login.
But that said, I know it also works with BuddyPress registration pages, so maybe there is a way to code it in. Suggestion for the feature requests?I’ll get the others to look at your question too.
PS: Just a tip, you should not create categories for states or regions etc.
The location switcher and map will assist your visitors do search for the locations.
Categories might be something like farmstays or holiday homes, but not town names etc.You should not post private details in other people’s topics. You are sharing with the person who started the topic.
Like posted above: you need to set permalinks to postname > Fixed
I also added the location switcher to your menu, you might have navigated to a place where there were no listings.
This reply has been marked as private. You did not have anything translated in
wp-content/languages/gdbuddypress/gdbuddypress-en_US.mo
I translated “Listings” for so you see it works.
Can you translate the rest?Your buddypress is translating OK, except for the menu, like Activity, Groups etc.
That might be a GD bug that stops the translation of that particular element. Can you also post your WP admin details and I’ll escalate this for you.
And you need to set permalinks to postname
