I placed the old GD search files in /wp-content/languages/plugins/AAA and uploaded the new ones to /wp-content/languages/plugins/
Same for the GD Social Importer.
Review the new files, and if you still have problems with any strings, please give us exact details of what is not working for you.

You should not use /events/ because you set the slug for your events to /local-events/.
If you try to go to /events/, WP will try to find the closest match because that page does not exist, and it will therefore go to /events-page/Thanks

We know that Yoast SEO works fine with GD, but “Premium SEO Pack” is breaking things. Always test everything after introducing a new plugin.
