It’s in your admin now 🙂
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/geodirectory-1-3-9-release-several-addons-updated/I’ll alert Paolo for you. As far as I understand, that is not possible.
It seems you just have to style your GD wrapper, for example:
#geodir-wrapper {
background:white;
width: 1170px;
margin:auto;
}Hi Zoe. I cannot really recreate what you describe. It loads fine for me every time.
It might be a caching issue for you locally, flush all caches or use another browser.March 5, 2015 at 10:32 pm in reply to: How to manually import locations translations in the database #33082How do your locations look like at GD > Manage locations. If you imported them in japanese I would expect them to be in japanese there.
Otherwise:
GD > Manage locations > Edit the location > change the City name.
Do NOT change lat and lng.
Same for region, but you will have to do that for each location.Changing them in admin will change it for all listings too.
Changing in the database will not.Let me know if I misunderstood the question.
March 5, 2015 at 10:16 pm in reply to: CSV upload no longer working on site and other major problems #33077So have you been able to solve it now?
To turn off the login:
GD > general > google analytics > Show business owner google analytics stats? > NoThe Edit this post link is only there for the user that created the listing or admin. Nobody else sees that.
I have changed Appearance > widgets > GD Home top > map widget > Collapse child/sub categories > NO.
Is that what you mean?This reply has been marked as private.It is called Location Manager in your download area.
I am not disagreeing, I have the same problem with some sites – I am in Brisbane. But that is how the Google map API works, so GD is stuck with that.
There are some options available, like adding a required field with options you provide. Eg Greater Melbourne, Grampians etc. Then visitors can filter their search, based on that custom field.
Best practice is to use the location switcher anyway, it will assist your visitors to see if they navigated to a particular location.“Is there an event title listed here?” Where?
“If I click on Go To Place can I view all the events by Bob The Builder?” http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/widgets/#event
“If I am entering events does the location auto fill?” Only if you choose it to. For example a user has 3 places. When adding an event he can choose to autofill of any of these 3 places or none.
March 4, 2015 at 10:26 pm in reply to: Adding City in a listing and map display on listing page #32955You had set region to be restricted to the City of Edinburgh, i changed that.

I disabled ubermenu for now, i was unable to change the settings.March 4, 2015 at 10:07 pm in reply to: Adding City in a listing and map display on listing page #32950Please post your admin details in a private message.
There are a few other problems, like icons missing etc.Start with running GD > GD Tools.
If a user has a “place” listing already, and he adds an event, it is possible to just pick that “place” when adding an event.
That will automatically fill in the address.
It will also add a link on the event page like this “Go to Place”.
I could not find directly in the demo, but here is an event on my test site, look in the sidebar for the “Go to Place” link.
