How to manually import locations translations in the database

    Hi Guust,
    I want to manually upload location translations for japanese country regions and cities.

    I have successfully upload translations on my localhost but my concern is how to connect its english city name to its japanese(kanji language) cityname.

    I want to know how translations for locations are connected with each other.

    How do your locations look like at GD > Manage locations. If you imported them in japanese I would expect them to be in japanese there.

    Otherwise:
    GD > Manage locations > Edit the location > change the City name.
    Do NOT change lat and lng.
    Same for region, but you will have to do that for each location.

    Changing them in admin will change it for all listings too.
    Changing in the database will not.

    Let me know if I misunderstood the question.
