February 10, 2015 at 9:38 pm in reply to: Update Loses Location Settings, Location Switcher Weirdness #30626Your switcher funnyness is to do with the fact that you have 2 countries translated the same.
Both US Virgin Islands and Virgin Islands are translated to US Virgin Islands.
If I remember correct this is something Stiofan was involved with to solve Google’s API problems for your area, so let’s wait for him.All depends on what theme you use etc, so without a URL it is hard to comment.
I have added this to your CSS:
li.menu-item {z-index: inherit;}The sender’s email is in the “reply to”.
If the listing owner replies to the email, it will go to the sender. You can add something like this sentence at the end of the notification:
“Click the “reply to” button to send a message to [#from_name#].
Thank you, [#site_name#].”The layout of the location page is modified at
GD > design > home
and then widgets added at Appearance > WidgetsGD > General > General > Disable rating on comments? > YES
To change Reviews to Comments in the tab on the detail page:
GD > Custom Post Types > Your CPT > Reviews tab label > Rename to “Comments”There might be other places where you want to change Reviews to Comments, you will have to do that in the translation files:

Is that listing available on the front end to non logged in users?
Or is it set to draft?Hi Marsha
Tags are normally entered by your users, so unless you do not allow your users to use tags, but reserve tags to be input by admin only, it might be difficult to organize by tags.To “label” parks as pet friendly etc, you can use custom fields.
These can then be used in your advanced search.Have a look here:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/places-categories-and-listings/
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-place-settings/#customI assume this is for your site of which you posted details earlier (you should really post your details again if you want us to assist).
You have another plugin that is adding Google maps in your footer.
De-activate that plugin and see how you go; there is most likely a conflict because of that. The post_content field is the main description/content of the listing.
In the sample CSV file it says “test”, but that can be changed to anything you like.
All listings imported will automatically be published, they will not be set to draft.EDIT: I was just a bit slow there 🙂
February 9, 2015 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Split: Can I manually add regions and cities instead of Google adding them #30491Hi Kasi
You cannot add locations unless they are in this format: country – region – city.
Once you have added one city for each of the states, those states will be available in the Selected Regions list. Please start your own topics, it helps us to help you better.
