Update: I had another look at this, and I was looking at the wrong thing. I was looking at your sorting options.
Both your CPT categories are included in your advanced search if you are on the correct page.
But I see one problem: you modified the search, and changing the drop down menu in the search widget does not work.
But if you are on the correct page, it works just fine.January 6, 2015 at 9:50 pm in reply to: "include this field in filter" not working for my GDPlaces #26564I’ll have to alert Stiofan. This is fairly erratic behaviour, one moment it is there, then it is not. I get the same on my test site now.
What is in the database is not reflected in the admin area by the looks of it.Can you upgrade your GD plugins and I’ll alert Stiofan.
Can you send URL and admin details.
That sounds like your locations are a bit muddled.

The GD slider widget does not adapt to the location or category.
You can only use one slider per page (template).
So what you are asking is not possible with the GD slider. If you want to use another slider that adjusts to the page content, you would need some custom coding.
This would not be theme dependent.
Exactly as you have: one CPT with two categories.
Maybe rename the CPT to “services??” or whatever, and then when they add the listing, they can choose either or both categories. So one submission for a “place” and they choose what they offer: ADR studios and Cutting Rooms, or ADR studios only, or Cutting Rooms only.
That will create one listing in 2 or 1 category.
I hope I am understanding you correctly.
Only CPTs have an add listing form, categories do not.
The Studios is your CPT, not a category.I think that is correct, only new listings can be set to draft.
If I am not mistaken, that is being considered for a future version, but not sure. That should not matter at all.
That means that user does not have a listing. If they have no listing, they cannot edit listings.
I just added myself as a user and it all works fine. I attach screenshots. If you have any type of cache, turn that off, and/or refresh everything.
Log in as the user that created the listing.
All the links in the login box will adjust to whoever is logged in.
You would then follow the link to My Listings > Places and they would all be there to edit. You had to add the right links to the dashboard (loginbox) at
GD > Design > Navigation > User Dashboard Post Type Navigation SettingsI have done that now. Is it working for you?
URL and admin details and I will have a peek for you.
