Rob, did you tick “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” in the WordPress Media settings?
December 24, 2014 at 2:53 pm in reply to: When set GeoDirectory as homepage I cannot access my BuddyPress profile #25405I just implemented the login redirect as per http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/redirecting-the-login-page/
I also added some CSS to make the register links visible, but there is some caching going on, which I was unable to clear.
I de-activated W3 super cache, you should not use page caching. Consider GD Booster instead. It should be in the Advanced Search language file, but it seems that the language file might not have been updated in the last version to include this new strings.
I’ll alert Stiofan.I visited your site in a few different browsers and answering the geolocation question differently, and I cannot see a problem.
It only takes you to the ME page if you click on the SEARCH button for me, and you have chosen to be geolocated.
The ME page uses the same template as the GD home/location templates.I’ll get Paolo to look at this for you.

Are you redirecting your buddypress login as per http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/redirecting-the-login-page/ ?Weird. Can’t find the problem. I’ll get Stiofan to have a look for you.

December 22, 2014 at 9:40 am in reply to: Subscriber: Add-Ons Upgrades Throwing Site Into Disarray #25241Hi Steven
Please read here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/release-of-gd-core-1-3-1-and-4-addons/
Did you go to GD Tools and ran the DB conversion tool?
Make sure you also clear your browser cache and cookies if you activate GD Booster.
If you still have trouble, post your WP admin details and we will have a look.Hi Cory, I guess you are talking about the address completer by Google, and not the autocompleting of listing titles in the search field.
What is your setting at GD > multilocation > location settings > Disable Google address autocomplete?
I fixed your child theme’s style.css file.
You need to rename function.php to functions.php.
Then it should be all good to activate. The reason the map does not show for logged in users, and the detail pages do not render for logged in users, must have something to do with the login bar or admin bar you use. I cannot figure out to disable it.
Wait for Stiofan to look at GD Booster and your switcher CSS. He might also have some ideas about the login/map problem.
Thanks for letting us know, and for explaining the problem.
A default city is only to get GD working, is has no relevance after.
If you choose Everywhere for the cities, then it will include all cities, accross all regions and countries in your database. That is standard.
If you want all cities in a region, then you have to select that region. This reply has been marked as private. The problem with your map seems to be a login problem. The map will show if logged in as admin. IE does not allow logging in for me.
Can you check your theme settings and/or de-activate non-GD plugins to isolate the problem; there is some there. The detail pages just load a bit slow, partly because the images it seems.
The page will render. GD Booster might fix that. That is not how you create a child theme, follow the instructions here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_ThemesYour locations need some tidying: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/
1. To move a site: codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
2. When your membership expires, only your free plugins will update. There should be no problem, but contact us if there is.
