Answered in your duplicate post.
Do you want to add links on your GeoDirectory website to your twitter, facebook etc pages? I am not sure what you are asking?
Where do you want the links?I split your posts of the other topic, so you can post private comments without the topic starter reading them.
Please keep private messages for things that are private, so others can pick up some tips from reading your topic.1. Can you post your admin details, so we can have a look.
2. That is standard behaviour.
3. “how can i add or change the categories appear on the gmap home…colors etc?”
Not sure what you mean. What part do you exactly want to change?
The box with the list of the categories on the right hand side overlaying the map, or …This reply has been marked as private. Can you post your URL and WP admin details?
GD booster works fine for most, so it might be a conflict with something else.
Did you upload and/or update ALL GD plugins?
Do you have many other plugins enabled?
Does it work when you disable all other plugins? That is what the popular categories widget is for.
The intention of the listings map is to only show the location of the listings returned on the page, and will be limited to those. For example, if you have 20 listings in the same category, which show on 2 pages, the map on the first page will show the first 10, and the next page will show the other 10.
I think it would be difficult to accomplish what you suggest. This same map is used for accommodation and accommodation/hotels and accommodation/hotels/1star. The legend would have to follow all that, and adjust to the page if paginated as well.Only the location maps have links to other CPTs and categories.
Once you navigate to a CPT you will see the listings map, which will display the listings subject to the query you made.
So either you are on a location page or a listings page, and the location map shows all the listings for the location, and the listings map shows the map markers for the listings shown on the page. You have not added a menu to
GD > design > navigation > Show geodirectory navigation in selected menu locations [that resets if you change the theme].
I added the main menu for you.Ta have a different page at mysite.com than the start page for the GD directory at mysite.com/location, do this
GD > design > Home > Geodirectory home page > NO
WP > settings > reading > Front page displays > Select the page you want as the homepage of your site. Not sure I understand.
/places or /vetclinics or /events etc are LISTINGS pages, they show listings in a CPT and category. You need a LISTING map for these for the map to work.
/location are pages for locations like cities or regions, and show the listings in that location. You need the HOME map for the location pages to work.
Have a look at the demo, http://wpgeo.directory
That is how it works.Sorry if I do not understand you correct.
Yeah, sure:
GD > design > Home > Geodirectory home page > YES
GD > design > Map > Default post type search on map > PlacesMaybe these guys are interested in building an extension for GD:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/affiliates/Every listing needs a user, and that user (and admin) can edit that listing.
I you added it as admin, you will be that user, unless you assigned the listing to another user.
If you add listings, and want the business owners to edit them, then you should use the Claim Listings addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/claim-manager/
That allows business user to contact you and claim their listings. Once you approve, the listing owner will change from admin to the new user, and they can edit the listing. The listings map shows the location of all the listings on the page, so if you have set the amount of posts to ten, then there will be ten listings on the map.
To increase the number of listings on the map, increase the number of posts on the page, at WP > settings > reading. -
