Paolo, there might be a error in the search widget, have a look at this topic:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/autocompleter-no-search-results/December 2, 2014 at 2:09 pm in reply to: Use shortcode to display search options for a non GD page #23274You can add the GD search widget to any page.
That should allow people to choose the post type and search.Send me your phpadmin details and I’ll change it for you.
To search, see the pic attachedI think it is in the wp_options table.
Otherwise, search in the database, not the tables. Can you turn off your non-GD plugins to see which one is the problem? Because that seems to be the problem somehow.
If you can’t fix it post your admin details so we can investigate for you.Can you answer Simone’s question too, so we can figure out whether it is sorting reverse alphabetic or oldest first (or newest).
If you are comfortable with going into the database you can search for newsite.eat-amsterdam.com and replace with eat-amsterdam.com
The image is there:
http://eat-amsterdam.com/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-assets/images/stars.pngYou cannot delete that, but you could have used it and renamed it.
But since you still got it and don’t want it, go to GD > design > map, and tick Places in “Show / hide post type and category on map”
Also, if you delete all Places, and Place categories , it should disappear from the frontend altogether.
Let us know how that went.
Are you using the review manager?
Have a look at http://www.eat-amsterdam.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=multirating_fields&subtab=geodir_rating_style you might be able to upload the correct image there (copy it from the demo site).
But I’ll get Stiofan to have a look at your question too.You can set new listings to draft at GD > design > listings > New listing default status > Draft
Or once uploaded, use the bulk edit function of WP to change the published status to draft.
@hirman
This is only beta, so we can fix all bugs like that. I guess you only get this when you activate the GD Booster?
What you get there is a warning only, and will be fixed in the final release.Have a look here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
This is the tool you need: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
That will change all URLs.
I did that, Amelya 🙂
But I could not get it to sort alphabetic as well. You need to use the same columns and all of them and in the same order as the sample CSV file provided.
Also, probably best to use the full state name rather than the abbreviation.
You should not change the column name for post_categoryMore info at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#csv
Let us know how you went.
They can renew at anytime, and the new period will be added starting at the expiry.
