Best practice is to settle on a theme before doing anything else; changing theme will reset a lot of widgets and menus etc. So bear that in mind when you intend to change themes later.
I’ll set this as resolved for now.Add a link in GD > design > navigation to your events page.
Your events page should be at yoursite/events, just like this:
http://wpgeo.directory/events/Usually you have widget areas in your menu, depending on your theme.
But a menu is not a widget. What you are asking is more like theme support, rather than GD support, depending on what theme you use.
It is not that easy giving you useful advice without seeing a URL.
You can always post that in a private message.November 30, 2014 at 1:08 am in reply to: Remove left margin on selected side bar element in details page #23067Try adding this to your CSS:
.geodir-company_info .geodir_video {margin-left: -50px;}
Or anything like “My online business” after you have set the location on the map.
Basically like Paolo says, the address field cannot be empty, but it can contain anything you like AFTER you set the location on the map.November 29, 2014 at 11:18 pm in reply to: Split: New Listings not showing and multi city drop down not working. #23062Hi Giuseppe, private messages can be read by admin AND the user that started the topic. So you should only post private details if you started the topic yourself.
I have no problem seeing your listings.
Can you be more specific?
Always de-activate anything that might interfere to start finding the cause of any problem.You also should add the location switcher: GD > multilocations > settings > Show location switcher in menu > YES
That way your visitors can see where they have navigated to.November 29, 2014 at 11:08 pm in reply to: Split: New Listings not showing and multi city drop down not working. #23060This reply has been marked as private.November 29, 2014 at 11:06 pm in reply to: Remove left margin on selected side bar element in details page #23058Can you post a URL for that page, that would make it a lot easier to give you some CSS.
GD has created that GDF Welcome widget for the GDF theme, but it is not possible to create something like that for every theme, because it is theme dependent.
I’ll get John to have a look at your topic, he is familiar with Genesis.
I’ll notify the others, they might have a better idea.
I just followed the instructions at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/help-i-get-a-php-warning-on-my-pages/

Hi Jan
Add this to your style.css:#geodir-wrapper {
width: 960px;
margin: auto;
}and then go to Appearance > widgets > GD Home Top Section > GD-Gmap – home page > set the map to 100%
Let us know how that went.
