    How would I put the loging / log buttons at the top of my home page?

    Depends what theme you use.
    If you use the GDF child theme, you can go GDF options > GDF Admin Bar > Enable
    Then add the GDF Welcome widget.

    GD has created that GDF Welcome widget for the GDF theme, but it is not possible to create something like that for every theme, because it is theme dependent.

    I’ll get John to have a look at your topic, he is familiar with Genesis.

    Thank you but you can disregard. I switched everything back to GDF and the Child Theme, pressed for time at this point.

    Best practice is to settle on a theme before doing anything else; changing theme will reset a lot of widgets and menus etc. So bear that in mind when you intend to change themes later.
    I’ll set this as resolved for now.
