Have you removed all custom templates? Are your location pages using the GD template?
Hi Stacey, is the multi location setting ” List drilled-down Regions, Cities.” Not working for you?
I am pretty sure that would be in the Payment addon PO file, but it will be not be as displayed on the front end because it needs to adjust for the amount of characters allowed for the package.
So look for the beginning of the string only and let us know if it worked. You had set both places and lovation permalinks as “places”.
You are referring to the Top section, not the Content section.
See more at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/
No need to add any CSS.
Let us know if you need more help.I meant it gives you the number of listings for the categories depending on the page you are visiting.
It will always show all categories for the custom post type you are visiting, but does not make a difference between categories and subcategories.
And yes, they are shown alphabetical. The Popular Categories widget will show all categories, and will adjust to the page your visitors are visiting.
It’s perfectly OK to post your details here, but I’ll alert Paolo who has access to that email (I don’t).
What settings are you using for the widget?
If you post your admin details in a private message, we can have a look at your settings. The GDF theme does not have that option.
Can you post your URL and WP admin details in a private message please.
This is most likely a conflict with another plugin.
Can you also describe exactly what you mean by breaking your site.
Best idea is to deactivate other plugins until you find what the problem is.Preview Changes is a WP function to preview changes that have not been published yet. It is not very useful for GD because normal users normally do not have access to the admin area.
You should use the Edit This Post link from the frontend, then you can preview.WPML works OK as far as I know, but not 100 percent sure.
@ Richard
You can set a meta and onscreen desciption for any location if you have more than one location, ie when you use the multi location plugin. Can you post the URL of that page, then John can have a look. That seems to be a common Avada a problem that sometimes gets fixed with a refresh.
Standard GD allows your visitors to navigate either by location or categories. That is why there is the location page, which is the start page for all locations.
Businesses will narrow by category, so might not work for everyone.
I’ll ask Stiofan to look at your other question. -
