I’ll leave this to Paolo (he is way smarter than I am), but I thought I noticed that the virtual pages had SEO tags assigned to them, so that might have been enough to break them.
As for the functions.php code, that code is only to fix things without reinstalling, you delete that code at the end of the fix. Look at point 4 on the article page.
Thx for clarifying, Stiofan.
From my tests I had thought that it looked at the database and then used the coordinates of what was in the database.
So if it uses the Google API, does that mean that field could be set to autocomplete using Google’s data?Your Multilocation manager needs updating.
Also, there is a plugin that is asking my location while in admin, which suggests there is a conflicting plugin.
You have edited the virtual pages it seems, so they no longer work:
http://southbaycompass.com/add-listing/
http://southbaycompass.com/location/So, please update the location manager, and restore your virtual pages, using the functions.php of your (child) theme – not any other file.
If that does not fix things, you will have to turn off your plugins one by one to find the conflict.I don’t have experience with MDD, except for logging into a GD user’s admin panel and doing some basic work on the site. I remember being pretty impressed with the speed.
Hi, have a look here
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/moving-to-a-faster-host-can-anyone-suggest/October 13, 2014 at 5:31 am in reply to: Change wording of listing success and preview pages? #18164Those would be in the main language file, http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/category/translation/
The problem with the first url is that the listing does not have a category.
The second problem, I can’t figure out for the moment without turning off the other plugins one by one. Also, I am only using a tablet for the moment, so I might have another look when I am back at a computer.
Also, your Google analytics make no sense, have a look here:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-general/#analyticsHi and welcome.
Different cities with the same name will have the same slug, because they are always put together with the country and the region.
Your problem is really a wordpress problem, and the only way to prevent it is to delete your old slugs or tags etc before creating locations in GD.You had hidden all listings from the map at GD > design > map
You did not have an active listing.
The draft listing did not have a category.
Your default ICON was a large beach photo, so that is why you had half of the map showing as the sea (that was your “icon”).Creating a child theme is explained here:

It is a must if you ever want to update your theme without losing any customizations.Hi Adam, I have asked Paolo to have a look at your question.
Hi Sam, I’ll get Simone to have a look at this.
Hi John
There is currently no custom field that is only available to admin but displayed on the listing.
I might ask Stiofan for his ideas too.GD blog details is the template for one post only, like
http://www.antigrijs.nl/10-geld-bespaar-tips-voor-senioren/GD blog listings is the page that lists your blog posts, like
http://www.antigrijs.nl/category/senioren/At least that is what I think.
So all that is still outstanding is that you wonder why the homepage title tag is not in the usual format like “Site Title >> Tagline”.
