Vikas wants your cPanel or other control panel access.
In the main GD plugin language files.
Gd > design > map > tick Places to hide on map.
But that doesn’t delete it from the advanced search menu, it seems.
Can you try make sure you have no listings or categories as Places, and that none of your widgets includes showing Places, and remove them from all the menus.
And check back whether that solves it.
If not, we might have to ask Vikas. You had not chosen any map in GD > design > marker cluster.
I fixed it for you.Translate the Geodirectory core plugin language files.
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/Because you created the tag first, it gets the “illinois” slug.
You then created anything else, whether a location, category or whatever, it will be named “illinois-1”.
That is standard WP behaviour. It is not because there are multiple locations in illinois, it is because illinois-1 is the slug of the state, so all cities, listings etc in that state will refer to -1 in the URL.
Hope it is clear now?
You must have a tag or ordinary wordpress category with that name already, before you created the state location. Or creating an Event category will do it too.
Why do you have event categories named after a state? The map should allow you to filter by state?
You might have to change it in your database, unless you can delete the tags or categories, then delete the location and create the location again.
Unless the location is the first thing created with that name, the slugs will be appended with a 1, and then a 2 etc.
I hope I made sense.you need to install Multilocations
Missed your last post: you need to install Multilocations
You did not tick “Anyone can register” in WP settings > general.
Regarding the PayPal settings, I am as confused as you are. Let’s call Superman Vikas.
I saw your other post to.
Can you send me the URL too 🙂We might need to see your installation, I think.
Can you post your WP login details in a private message? You can just remove all the login widgets, and untick “Anyone can register” at WP settings > general.
You will also have to remove the options to favorite listings.
Nasc, you are able to add your GD>search widget to your home page as it is, as long Avada gives you a widget area on your Avada home page.
Unless you abandon Avada all together, your header and menu area will not change.
The GD Home Top area is always below the header and menu area of any theme. This page might help you understand what is part of your theme and what is part of GD:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/The GDF theme has an area for widgets in the right hand corner, have a look at http://www.bookhinterland.com.au/ (work in progress) where I added a WP search widget, not the GD search widget.
Hi Giovanni, I installed Payment manager for you and set both Places and Events to 2 images. You can change all that at
wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=paymentmanager_fields&subtab=geodir_payment_managerI added an image to your first Place and it all works fine.
The “You can upload 0 images with this package” message only shows in admin, not on your public site. -
