Hi stever, I could not log in, does not recognise user.
Hi Sally, that is not possible.
But you can have more than one Popular Post widget, and use different CTP for each, just like at http://wpgeo.directory/location/You are referring to the names in the Widgets area.
GD Listing is the template for the pages that contains all the listings, for example
http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/
http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/new-york/GD Detail is the template for the page that contains only one listing, for example
http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/new-york/new-york/5-stars/crosby-street-hotel/GD Page is the template for a “normal” WordPress” page, for example your About page.
Sorry, should have read a bit better.
The related listing widget only works on a detail page, the idea is to show listings that are related to the particular listing. I have added the popular widget instead.1. Go to WP admin > settings > general > Anyone can register > YES
2. You should find that if you open your site in a different browser, so that you are not logged in as admin, you will not be able to edit a published post.
For example, try editing http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/france/all/all/museum/saint-hilaire/Let us know how you went.
1. If you want everything nofollowed, why not add
<META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOFOLLOW”>
to the head of your pages?
Not too sure how else it can be done at this time, somebody else might chime in.2. I suggest to rename your custom post type to something shorter, just drop all the repetition. Not too sure why the transparent banner does not scroll.
Also, you might be better off to reduce the custom post types (top-categories) to a minimum, and have more categories within each custom post type.
You seem to have some categories that do not seem to make sense (at least not to me). Why have pubs divided in subcategories, like suburb for example?
Simplicity is king (or queen).3. You have to make sure you set up your relationships:
GD > design > detail > Set “Show related post listing on” and “relate to”.Yes, you can.
Here is an example: http://goldroo.net/
Look at the colour of the location switcher.
This is the code added to the child theme..gd-location-switcher {
background-color: red;
}You have to add the location switcher to your menu, so visitors can choose to go back where they came from.
Searching or viewing some listings is like zooming in, and the location switcher works to zoom out.
WP admin > GD > multilocation > Show location switcher in menu > YESHi Ken, that is how it is supposed to be I think, or it would not be possible to add a NEW or FEATURED banner to it.
Vikas will have a look at your post.
.header-right-area {
background: none;
width: WIDTH-OF-YOUR-BANNERpx;
}
.site-logo {
width: WIDTH-OF-YOUR-LOGO-IMAGEpx;
}It does not really matter, once you got a few places going, does it?
Howard, I split this topic (you should really start your own support topics – gives you more chance to get your answer timely, and makes life easier for us).
I asked Vikas to have a look at your question.Nasc, this is because there is only one listing for that CTP, and your map is set to auto-zoom.
Refer to https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/map-on-listing-sidebar-does-not-show-listings/
As soon you have more than one listing in that category, you will see that the map will zoom in.If you mean that you want to remove “My favorites” from the user’s dashboard list, go to GD > design > navigation > delete all post types from “Show favorite link in user dashboard”.
