    Hello,
Found this small bug which was in the original beta release and has returned:
Featured images are being displayed as background images rather that the actual images –

    <div class="geodir_thumbnail" style="background-image:url('http://wpgeo.directory/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/crown1.jpg');"></div>

    Also attached in screen shot.
    Thanks
    Ken

Hi Ken, that is how it is supposed to be I think, or it would not be possible to add a NEW or FEATURED banner to it.

    Hi,

this is not a bug, it is a choice we made while rebuilding the templates and it’s the only way to have consistent images size no matter the format or size of any user submitted image.

    Thx

    Thanks for your explanation Paolo,

In my humble opinion – one consideration in doing this is that the meta data stored in the featured images will not be able to be read by the search engines and as featured listings are on the home page this will be reducing the SEO potential. The only other consideration is to my featured images from the home page which is not ideal.

Please correct me if my understanding of this structure is not correct.
    Thanks
    Ken
